Shane Komine is a former professional baseball player who pitched in Major League Baseball. He was born on July 15, 1980, in Honolulu, Hawaii. Komine played college baseball at the University of Nebraska, where he was a standout pitcher.
He was selected by the Oakland Athletics in the 9th round of the 2001 MLB Draft and made his MLB debut with the team in 2006. Komine also played for the Pittsburgh Pirates organization before retiring from professional baseball.
